I'm not a vet. According to Dr. Murry if you want the full benefit of
heartworm prevention use a full cat size tube of Revolution. A
university study proved that a kitten size tube will get most of the
heartworms but about 10% of ferrets with just the kitten size developed
heartworm disease.
