Subject: [ferrethealth] lethargic with ferretonin implant
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I was wondering if these two are linked. Does a ferretonin implant cause a ferret to become
lethargic? My ferret, Champ, has been lathargic the last few days. He still eats drinks and
poops like normal. Recently he hasn't been as playful as the other ferrets and falls asleep
sooner than everyone else. Usually, I let them out of their cage after work for 2 1/2 hours,
and Champ usually falls asleep after 1 hour, while everyone else is still playing and running
around. Champ doesn't usually run, he walks. When he does run, he is usually being chased
and he is trying to get away from them. Anyway, sorry for making this long. He received his
ferretonin implant 1 or 2 months ago, so I am not sure as to why he is so tired all the time.
Snickers got the same implant, but she is not as lethargic as Champ. Thanks in advance for
your thoughts!
