Subject: [ferrethealth] Lethargic ferret
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I live in the uk, so hot here is not hot like the rest of the world. lol
All the precautions you have suggested i have done. they live in a
shed 10' x 8' and the others were fine. The vet seams to think its a
virus now, as his temp is still rising, its now 105. He has given him
some metacam to hopefully bring his temp down and synolux antibiotic
to see if that works better than baytril. He is v sick and he has told
me to expect the worst but he will try everything he can.. We are
trying to cool him down with the frozen bottle, a wet cloth on him and
a fan. I dont think there is much more i can do but hope....

Thank you for your replies, I will keep you posted....
