Try feeding him some Ferretvite from your finger. It's good for short term nutrition and calories. Also try some ferret lax, in case there's a partial blockage that it might move out.

Measure out the kibble and see how much disappears when you're not there.

As for the baby food, try mixing it with some water into a soup and heating slightly. He already likes the flavor, so see how much of the soup he'll eat on his own from a bowl. You can always put him and the bowl on your lap at first, then gradually put them both on the floor after he's eating away.

The heat could be contributing to the lethargy.
