This could be a result in changing his food too quickly;
mix in the new food and slowly decease the old over a 2week period.
Has he been to the ferret Vet for a check up and shots recently?
sometimes their bodies react to vaccinations. Has he been in contact
with any other ferrets? This could be ECE in the making.
The young tend to get over this like a human does with a cold, but if
eating and drinking patterns alter, get him to a ferret VET as small
bodies can go downhill fast.
