I just checked the Archives and it would seem that ferrets don't get canine parvo virus. What they do get is Aleutian Disease Virus. It would be a good idea if you could find a more knowledgeable vet or get your vet to talk to a ferret vet to get more info. You can also check the FHL Archives in the Link section of FHL. I only skimmed and there were lots more references. Is your fert eating? drinking? Could be a number of other things too, possible ulcer but it does sound serious and I think a more knowledgeable vet would be able to help more.
