Subject: [ferrethealth] Peanuts question
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

In a recent article on MSN on nuts I read that Peanuts are technically
legumes, and have a low glycemic index, which means they're digested
slowly and help maintain a balanced blood-sugar level.

I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to grind up a small amount of
unsalted peanuts and add it to our recipe mix? And if giving a tiny
bit of plain peanut butter to insulinomic ferrets daily might help?

Comments?
