All my ferrets like an egg once a week beaten up with some milk (about
25 ml), when I call "egg day, girls" they come running. I wouldn't
give them cheese.

Ferrets can be lactose intolerant but this is because the enzymes
needed to digest milk cease to be produced by the body if not
used(i.e. no milk being drunk). Giving milk at this point will upset
the system. If the ferrets are used to milk or if you start by only
giving very small amounts then the digestive system can cope OK.
