Subject: [ferrethealth] chordomas in ferrets
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I have a two year old male ferret that I have started noticing a small
lump developing on the end of his tail. He has not lost any hair on the
tail and he is very active and eats well.It does not seem to bother him
but I know ferrets can get sick fast. I am also assuming this is a
chordoma on his tail. Can anyone give information on these please? We
will be leaving on vacation in about three weeks and he will be watched
by ferret knowledgeable people who have watched him before. I want to
make sure he will be ok to leave. Thanks
