Subject: [ferrethealth] No carb food
Does anyone know of any problem that could be caused to ferrets fed a
kibble containing 13% lucerne(alfafa) instead of normal corn, rice or
other plant material.

http://www.purlife.com/medicago.htm This is not the food in
question but does have analysis of alfafa.
I am not asking about the quality or otherwise of this particular
food, only if there is a problem with lucerne.
Tony.
My home is ferret proof - my heart is not.
