{{ if you all could conduct research with ferrets in mind, what would
be the main focus of your research? What do you consider as meaningful to
the future of ferrets? }}

I don't think there's any question that most ferret people would choose to
focus research on the causes of the most prevalent illnesses we see; namely,
adrenal disease (Hyperadrenocorticoidism, hope I spelled that right),
insulinomas, and lymphomas, all of which seem to be uniquely rampant among
American ferrets. I would choose AD [in veterinary medicine, for those new to
ferrets, AD stands for Aleutian Disease caused by ADV, i.e. Aleutian Disease
Virus and Dave may be mentioning it since the work that had been done at
U GA has slowed --Mod] if I had to pick one.
