Dear Judy:

Right now, I would say yes, especially as we haven't had any real
evidence other than circumstantial that lupron is causing the lump.

We are not talking about a systemic reaction here (which is uncommon
with lupron, but can happen (rare reactions usually result in bone
marrow suppression.)

Let's say, for argument's sake, that lupron is the cause of the lump,
and the lump is an inflammatory nodule. Then we would consider more
careful injections to insure all of the the lupron is delivered into
the subcutis, another injection site, or investigate IM injection
(which is done in humans).

But first I think we need to look at that nodule to see exactly what
it is . That site is very common for cutaneous neoplasia in animals
which have never received any lupron at all.
