Subject: Re: [ferrethealth] wax/ear cleaning
I squirt a little in their ears and then rub them to make sure it gets
all the way down. After around 30 minutes, I take cotton swabs that I
have dipped in the cleaner and clean out all the pockets and folders of
their outer ears. By waiting, it gives the cleaning solution a chance to
work the wax from deep inside out to where I can get it.

Oh, be sure and step back when you set them down after squirting the
cleaner in their ears. Otherwise you get to wear the solution and
sometimes a little ear wax!
Does this mean that I am supposed to put a few drops of solution into
thier ears and then clean them out? My vet told me to dip it into the
solution to clean them out. Which way works better?-Ashley, Dale, Bonnie
