Have his blood sugar tested. If his insulinoma is not well
enough controlled now by the current deit choices and
levels of medications then that can cause diarrhea of just
that description. There are other possible causes, of
course, but check this one first because it is the one that
can go very wrong the fastest, and do sequential stool checks.

Remember: some things require multiple testing of stool. For
example coccidia often will require as many as 5 sequential
specimens checked during diarrhea bouts, and even then the
vet and techs have to look for BOTH genera of coccidia that
ferrets get, not just the one they are most used to thinking
about. Since the less common one can go very wrong very
suddenly that advice is especially important. That genus is
the one that was killing all those shelter ferrets a few years
back. See past posts like

It is so common for hospitals to just look for Isospora instead
of also looking for Eimeria, and many do not check enough
fresh specimens for enough days.

Good luck. Diarrhea can be hard to find the root cause. Start
with those two things, though, because each can go wrong
enough that they need to be truly eliminated as causes.
