Thank you, Sukie and Tressie, for responding. Because Fiona does not eat on her own I will
feed her regularly through the day. It has been so difficult for me trying to figure out what is
best for my guys between the allopathic and homeopathic choices. My regular vet is very
allopathic and he, too, is not particularly supportive of alternative treatments. But I do
believe he is committed to doing the best he can and he is an incredibly skilled surgeon. And
as I said the homeopathic vet did not like to entertain traditional means of treatment. I feel
that I have been somewhat on my own in trying to make determinations. I felt like I was the
only one in this difficult situation. Your responses are greatly appreciated.

Do you think that it is ok to wait until next week for my regular vet to come back? I could
take her somewhere else to get started with blood work and meds if waiting is putting her in
danger. She has been in this "stable" routine for about 3 months.
