If she is having stupors, I wouldnt say she's in stable condition.=A0 I wou=
ld at least have another vet run a glucose test, and get her started on Pre=
d if it is needed, then follow up w/ your regular vet.
=A0
Also, remember that food goes in and out of a ferret in appx 4 hours.=A0 I =
would try to feed her every 4 hours since she's not eating on her own.=A0 M=
ake sure its high meat protein too.=A0 You can also supplement her food w/ =
Chicken or Turkey babyfood (make sure nothing else is added in - no pasta o=
r veggies - usu Gerber's Stage II is recommended).=A0 Twice a day for an in=
sulinomic ferret is not nearly enough, but if she begins to get stable gluc=
ose w/ regular feedings, she may start to eat on her own.=A0 Will she eat w=
atered-down kibble or anything on her own?=A0

Thank you, Sukie and Tressie, for responding. Because Fiona does not eat on=
her own I will
feed her regularly through the day. It has been so difficult for me
