Sometimes w/my guys after being on antibiotics for some time....the runny
stool returns because all of the good bacteria has also been killed w/in their
intestines. We have then given them benebac or something of the sort to add
that bacteria back. Also....If Coccida and ECE were ruled out....I have had
much luck with totally ferret's Emu Oil. My IBD guys who were about to strat
Imuran have had 99% healthy stools for over a year since using Emu Oil.
Their IBD is controled w/Emu oil only. I give 5 drops 3xs daily to start...and
then in time reduce to 5drops 2xs daily am and pm. They receive this
suppliment daily, as do all my ferret now. The Omega 3 and 6 in the correct ratio
is a natural anti-inflammatory, as well as contains many other healing
agents.
Run it by your vet...see what he thinks...
