dose of Lupron Depot. This abated almost immediately but came back
within 7 days. This time he received a 200 mcg. dose, which lasted
7 days. So one more of 100 mcg. In five weeks he received 4 Lupron
Depot injections. <
I have found that the 4-month, 1mg Lupron depot works MUCH better
than the smaller monthly injections. In fact, at one time, I was my
vet's only client who used the 4-month. He used monthly for
everyone else. He now only offers the 4-month after deciding the
lower dosage monthly injections were not very effective. In order
to get the equivalent quantity in a monthly, the dosage would have
to be 250mg. At that point, the monthly usually becomes more
expensive than the 4-month injections.
For a quick jump-start, I have sometimes used the 2mg, 1 month for
the first injection, and then moved back to the 1mg after that.
