Subject: [ferrethealth] Update on Ruby-stump pyometra

Well, Ruby had her surgery yesterday and had to stay over at the hospital last night for
monitoring with pain meds. Anyway, as suggested, the surgeon checked everything inside
while they had her open and her adrenals looked great, as did everything else besides the
uterine stump. That was removed and send for biopsy and culture. I will let you know if
anything interesting develops from these tests, but in the meantime I just wanted to thank
everyone for their time and advice!
