Andrea & Jeff,
I agree, in her case 10 minutes wasn't enough time. Something Dr.
X often reminds me of is that each ferret is unique and what
works for one under similar circumstances may not work for another. She
also says they don't read the text books and when it comes to ferrets,
one must always think out of the box. Sound advice.
I will wait 20 mintues the next time I give her the sulcrate and see
how she does when eating. And if that's not enough time, will increase
that to 30 minutes and so on, until I find what works for her.
