I buy slippery elm bark powder at our local health food store. It's sold in capsules, but it's a lot cheaper and easier to use if you scoop it yourself from a bin in their 'bulk herbs' section. I fill a small baggie about halfway, it costs about $3, and since you only need to use a little, it lasts us about 4 months, and that's using a little bit each day in soup for four ferrets.
