Subject: [ferrethealth] Small mass
To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

A few days ago I noticed a small mass on our older girl Trinny, who is around 6 years old. It's about the size of a blueberry, soft, and it is easily moved around. She also doesn't seem to mind when it's touched or gently maneuvered. It's located just behind her right front leg, on her side. It isn't visible, but it's just below the skin. I have never noticed it there before, and I handle her every day, so I believe it's new. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this might be? She is otherwise her normal self. She's had IBD for a few months now, but we're managing it well and she's actually gained some weight, and is slightly pudgy. She gets a small dose of Prednisolone daily (0.25 ml). That's the only med she's on.

Thanks for any insights,

Jeff
