Thanks for the replies everyone. My only real concern was/is if ferrets who
have a lot of awake and 'in the light' time are at greater risk of adrenal
disease than those who sleep more. I'm assuming that this is not the case?
The reason I ask is due to the discussions regarding ferrets having 'total
dark' when they sleep etc, and I was concerned that ferrets who are awake a
lot and playing in light, daylight, etc. may be at a greater risk. But
also...are ferrets who are in the beginning stages of adrenal more prone to
sleeping or awake? Obviously I still have a lot to learn about adrenal
disease.
Am I just over-thinking things here?
