Subject: [ferrethealth] Lower Canine
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Thanks Lynne and Troy Lynn.

Rufus was born April 1 ... one of litter of 7 I had to privilege to
have born here (a whole other story). He hasn't had any problem
eating unless you count the fact there were 6 others (plus Momma Mocha)
to share a bowl with. In fact, at 3 1/2 months, he's over 3 lbs.

I've watched him eating and his canine doesn't seem to be bothering
him. I like the idea of just leaving it alone if it isn't hurting him.

I have a vet here in GR who just retired as the Zoo Vet. I remember
him telling me about a dentist he sent to dental school for animals in
order to help him with the zoo animals. I called him Friday, but, of
course, he wasn't in. It would be nice if his dentist friend would
like to experiment with a ferret tooth.

I'll let you know what I find out.
