I have had two females who were non-stop compulsive lickers, and both
had signs of adrenal disease. One last year licked my husband's legs too
much and he got patchy welts all over his legs and had to get a
prescription for a steroidal cream to control it.
One currently here loves to climb up, lick my face and then CHEW on my
ear lobes. That' when I stop her. She is so sweet. She's scheduled for
surgery soon. It will be interesting to see if she stops this behavior
when the adrenal problem is gone.
