You have already mentioned a few insulinoma symptoms so the saliva dribbling just
makes it even more likely, though ulcer is also possible.

The vet needs to check the blood sugar.

Remember that the steroids to treat insulinoma MUST be given with food.

Also, remember that insulinoma makes ulcers more likely so both could be present.

Finally, the same symptoms can be seen with diabetes so never treat a ferret with meds
for insulinoma unless the blood sugar levels have been checked first or fatal damage can
result.
