MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A FERRET VET FOR A THOROUGH CHECK UP AND
UPDATING OF VACCINATIONS IF NEEDED. ASK THE VET HOW LONG, IF AT ALL
SHE SHOULD BE QUARANTINED.

ONE-ON-ONE IN A NEUTRAL TERRITORY IF POSSIBLE. ONCE VET OKAYS HER
HEALTH WISE, PLACE THE CAGES NEXT TO ONE ANOTHER. THERE IS LOADS OF
INFO AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ABOUT INTRODUCTIONS - GOOGLE YOUR
QUESTION.

I HAVE ONE SPRITE THE SIZE OF A KIT AND SHE IS 4 YEARS OLD. FERRETS
COME IN ALL SHAPES AND SIZES. IF SHE TRULY IS THIN, THEN THAT IS
ANOTHER MATTER. TAKE HER TO THE VET FOR HEALTH CHECK.

IF SHE IS GRIEVING THE LOSS OF HER HUMAN FAMILY, SHE MAY STOP EATING
OR DRINKING AND SLEEP MORE. THAT IS WHAT YOU NEED TO WATCH FOR.
FERRETS PLUMMIT PRETTY QUICKLY IF NOT EATING OR DRINKING.

BEST THING YOU DID FOR HER WAS GIVE HER A FOREVER HOME - THE NEXT
BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR HER IS TO TAKE HER TO A FERRET
KNOWLEDGEABLE VETERINARIAN FOR A THOROUGH CHECK-UP AND UPDATING OF
VACCINATIONS.
