Subject: [ferrethealth] blood donors

I was thinking of allowing my boy to be a blood donor. I understand
there is a correlation between their body weight to the amount of blood
that can be drawn, I'd like to know how long one has to wait before
they can be used as a donor again. Are there any other considerations
that should be taken into account (besides obvious health issues)? Is
there anything that needs to be done for the donor afterwards - like
how people get the snacks after donating blood?
