Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Orange pee, red poops
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Drew was doing fairly good over the weekend, no more red poops,
darker yellow urine, better than the bright orange urine he had. But
still having to give him fluids, and he's not eating on his own, I
have to sryinge feed him soup. The problem with forcing soup is, the
soupy poopies, no formed poops. I've tried giving him soften kibble
tonight, but no go. He has an appt on Wed with his vet, but checking
him tonight, he doesn't seem to be peeing much at all. So we'll have
to change his appt to tomorrow, with a vet I don't like. I try to
refrain from seeing his certain vet becuase she's the one who gave
my Koda Ivermectin that paralyzed him, and eventually lead to
putting him to sleep. She didn't even say "I'm sorry". But unless I
see a big pee tomorrow morning, he'll have to see her.

They eat fairly good food, TF, 8 in 1 Ultimate, Zupreen, Evo,
Natural Gold, and the only treats they get are of course ferretone
(which I'm out of), Dookers Delight, N Bones, and once in a great
while Cheweasels. No fruits, veggies or colored foods. I feed them a
very strict diet, which I'm sure is very boring, but I don't want
any extra vet bills from me giving them something they shouldn't
have. I swear I've spent at least $100 to $714(spenectomy) each week
since late May. I would like to have a couple of weeks with no vet
bills :-).

I will keep you posted on what the vet says.
Thanks,
Melanie*
