The huge sore may be the reason she's not eating, just like an ulcer inside the mouth or a bad tooth will cause them to refuse to eat to avoid the pain associated with it. IF you know how to syringe feed, then you can try that, mixing up a little soup and avoiding the sore with the syringe. IF you have never fed with a syringe, then it's best to have the vet show you how first, as improper feeding can lead to the ferret inhaling the food instead of swallowing, and that can lead to pneumonia.

If you have some ferretvite, try giving some of this off of your finger until you get to the vet. At least it's good vitamins and calories.

There is a chance that your ferret also has ulcers of the stomach. If you are unfamiliar with ulcers then email me directly and I'll send you a bunch of information that I've gathered over time that would help you determine if this could be the problem.
