Subject: [ferrethealth] Results for Drew

Ok, so the bloodwork came back for Drew. He has a raging infection and
his white count is 32,000, when it should be under 10 is what the vet
says. He's getting metronidazole and baytril and I'm still doing the
fluids and force feeds. Hopefully in a day or so he'll start feeling
better. I kept him close to me last night and fed him at 1:15am,
5:30am and again at 8:30am so far, along with fluids. I thought he
might not make it through the night because he was so weak.
The vet thinks the infection night be from the prostate, so once this
gets cleared up, we'll look at that. Hopefully the Lupron helped the
prostate.
