Check your dressers, nightstands, anything that has a drawer in it -
not all furniture has a solid piece underneath to prevent access from
under the drawer. Mine can get up into the nightstand by standing on
the books and pulling themselves up. They can also go under the
dresser which has no board and climb from there. Our first could make
it all the way to the top. Bookcases, other wall furniture - even if
close to the wall your kid may make it behind them. Some pieces will
have an opening at the bottom, big enough to hide in. In any stuffed
furniture - either from the top or the bottom. Stick your hands in
and really feel around all the crevices. Any room that you think she
couldn't get into because the door is shut - they can squeeze
underneath. We once had kittens that got under the kitchen cabinet
because they discovered some of the vinyl could be pulled away, the
mews gave them away. Check in your cabinets and drawers, all the
sudden they will go and open things that they used to ignore. Our
first could open the sliding cloest doors too. Any box you haven't
looked in for a while, open wire baskets, behind the dvd player or
stereo, or in the vcr.

If you can't find them at all and you are worried you could call the
vet and see about having the barium and xrays done. When I had to
take my boy in they took an xray, gave him the barium, then he spent
the afternoon waiting for it to come out. They continue to take xrays
to see how it's moving. If there is no blockage the barium will flush
out everything. Your vet may be willing to do just the barium and
wait and see what happens, it takes about 4 to 5 hours. It was just
under $400 in my area, but piece of mind - priceless!

Good luck with your duck hunt.
