Yes, I have heard and experienced that when lymphoma is abdominal, it
means you have a lesser chance of treating it sucessfully with any
chemotherapy.
I have also tried to find the same information with little success.
There aren't enough vets doing chemotherapy to gather that
information, I guess.
But - because your guy is not rapidly going downhill, I would give it
a shot. If you want the contact information, I can give you it for the
Tuft's Protocol if you want. It is the easiest on a ferret and can be
done all SQ.
