Thanks Sukie for the heads up, I was looking at the ground beef at
Whole Foods the other day, glad I didn't buy it. I read in todays paper
that ground beef purchased from Whole Foods was part of the recall.
They buy meat from Coleman Natural Foods, who had the beef processed at
Nebraska Beef, who is at the center of all of this. Here's the article

An aside here, I heard some time ago on the radio where Wegmans (an
east coast grocer) had a recall and they were able to notify customers
who were part of their store card program because they had a record of
who bought the product. If I remember correctly it was ground beef then
too. Anyway, big brother or not, at least we know registering and
having the store cards works for something other than a discount.
