Ferrets need access to food 24/7. A diet of just chicken gravy would
not be balanced. If you feed meat exclusively, it must be whole
animals (rats, mice, etc), not just parts. If you are adding kibble to
the soup, you are defeating your purpose. Many people feed gravy once
or twice a day and leave kibble out all of the time, which is what it
sounds like you are planning. If your goal is to eliminate carbs, you
need to feed whole prey.
Another question you had was how to tell how many carbs are in foods.
If I recall correctly, you would subtract the listed ingredients from
100, and the balance would be the carb percentage. Someone can correct
me if I'm wrong.
