Have the professionals at the vet hospital you use
teach you hands-on how to safely give sub-cutaneous
(under skin) fluids and how to safely force feed. Force
feeding carries the risk of aspiration pneumonia so you
need to learn this in a hospital setting from a professional.

There are many reasons ECE can cause a ferret to not eat.
Even dehydration alone can do it, so try warmed a/d or
warmed meat baby food with water. Add in the discomfort
and it can take patience and techniques to get your ferret
eating so I have included info below to help you.
