Yesterday Valkyra got her first shot of antibiotics (Enroxyl) and vet
gave me 4 more shot to administer @ home every 24 h. Today morning we
noticed that her finger is less swollen.
Yesterday at the vets we managed to remove part of that crusty growth.
It seems that ointment we were using 4 the last 2 weeks is drying the
growth so we were recommended to continue with usage twice a day.
Vet haven't got a clue what it is - she said that it may be some sort
of tumor or something, but that was pretty much all.
Our friend and expert for ferrets suggested that we should take a
blood test with differential overview and Xray of the foot because
there is possibility that bone inflammation is causing the swelling.
I will call vet's office today and schedule blood drawing for
tomorrow. I am a bit afraid of that because few months ago they
couldn't draw blood when we needed to do some test for Valkyra. I hope
that won't be the case now.
