To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I have posted a photo of the largest of the struvite uroliths Sampson
passed today. They were contained in a gritty ball that dissolved as
soon as I touched it and left dozens of tiny hard sharp specks and the
larger shards, which felt like bits of bone. The largest of these was
red and turned lighter as it dried, presumably from blood as it passed
through his urethra.

The photo is in an album titled 'Struvite uroliths'.

Sampson is doing better in general about 3 days in to the antibiotics
(i.e., Baytril .3cc 2x a day). He still has some leaking and actually
peed on me when I picked him up yesterday, but he does not have the
constant wetness around his prepuce that he had before he started the
antibiotics.
