Hi Ashley,

Without examining Clyde's stool closely its hard to say whether he's
passed a forming obstruction. Sometimes it takes several poops to
get it all out.

In terms of Bonnie, I wouldn't wait to take her to the vet. An x-ray
may not show the actual obstruction but there will be gas bubbles
before and after an obstruction that would show on the x-ray - if
there is an obstruction in there. Some vets also do a barium and if
it doesn't pass through freely its another sign of an obstruction.

Pumpkin is great! It is more palatable if mixed into a duck soup and
works just as well. A ferret with an already formed obstruction does
not generally want to eat, whereas, if still eating there may be a
partial obstruction forming. Sounds like you are doing everything
correctly with a suspected obstruction but if she still hasn't passed
anything by the time you read this post - I wouldn't delay in getting
her to a vet.

And if she starts vomiting - get her in asap!

mean he has passed whatever was in there? 2) How long should I wait
before taking Bonnie to the vet? 3) Is there anything else I should
be doing?

They are playing, and running around, and are still eating and
drinking. (I have seen them eating, but I'm not sure how much. They
never eat a lot at once, just kinda munch throughout the day. So it
is hard to tell if they are eating as much as usual.) I pressed on
thier bellies last night and neither of them felt hard, and neither
one seemed to be in pain from me touching it. I didn't feel any lumps
or anything else either..
