Hi Drew,
No I have not used Trelstar, but Dr Wagner at the
U of Pitt has used it. He recommends a dose of
300 mcg once a month of the one month version
(Trelstar depot). Trelstar also comes in a once every
3 months version called Trelstar LA.
On the human side, Trelstar works to lower both forms
of LH. I do not know if ferrets also have 2 forms of LH.
IF they do, then Trelstar may work better than Lupron.

PS Not sure how much Trelstar cost, but the 3.75mg human
dose would only give 12.5 ferret doses. Thus it may not be cheaper
than Lupron for ferret use.
