Well I don't have a lot of confidence in the guy who does the
ultrasound (not my normal ferret vet but in the same office) so I
held her and watched him do it (I have experience with crack
detection in aircraft castings using ultrasound. :) ). and the
bladder looked clear to both of us.

With regard to Ph values, from the start Suki's Ph was always 5.5
after the first course of antibiotics it rose to 6.0 and has stayed
at 6.0.
My other ferret, Sugar 3 y/o,(same food) was only tested once by dip
stick (to get a comparison) and she was 6.0.
Unfortunately this week I saw that her vulva was swollen, from OK a
week ago, so they are both back to the vets on 27th.
