Sometimes a ferret requires more Lupron
than expected, or Lupron and a Melatonin
Implant, or has a more complicated form of
adrenal growth than hyperplasia and very
much would be best off with timely surgery

From the very easily used FHL Archives
which are separate and can be linked to
from several places on the FHL homepage:

For example Dr Bruce Williams:

The likeliest possibility here is mammary gland hyperplasia as a
result of the adrenal disease. The increased estrogen can do it -
it's certainly not common, but I have seen in about five times over
the years.

The separate FHL Archives are very kindly provided by Pam and
Eric Sessoms, and have helped save many a ferret.
