It sounds like her bout with ECE was bad enough
to cause damage to her small intestine. Grainy/
Bird-seed stools are from poor absorption of fats
at that location.
IBD and colitis can also happen after ECE and one
or both may also exist.
Another thing that ECE can cause is kidney damage
if the ferret was too dehydrated for too long.
Reduce the fats (including oils) in the diet and look
into treatments for ferrets who have IBD. There is
