Also we sprayed her with flea and mite spray. That orange scabs look
much worse at her neck, not sure if it is because of the other ferret
dragging her or is some skin problem. We are keeping a very close eye
on her and if doesn't continue to improve we will take her to vets.
They are sort of out door ferrets they stay in out shed in a big
spacious run, although it is always kept 100% clean I know that it is
possible for them to catch fleas/mites etc especially in the summer

[Emergency Moderator's Note: if this was an over-the-counter
flea spray instead of one your vet recommended for ferrets call your
vet now and see if the one used poses any poisoning or marrow
suppression risk for the ferret. If so, the vet will need to interact
with animal poison control and help the ferret ASAP. Even marrow
transplants are possible and info on those is in another post when
the info had to be found after a flea product damaged a ferret. sadly,
it wasn't done in time for that ferret:
