Subject: [ferrethealth] stray ferret went home
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

This morning was bittersweet for me. The stray ferret found in the
window well of the local hospital went home this morning. The owner
didn't seem very thrilled, barely even said thank you.

Now that I have information, cage, toys, hammocks, bedding, food and
have been bitten by the "ferret bug" I will be looking at shelters and
rescues for a ferret close to me that is in need of a home. Was hard
watching that one go out the door. Glad that I had only had him home
for one night with me. The kittens had a ball with him and it was great
entertainment watching them play! Even the husband was caught talking
to the ferret and petting him, of course he would never admit to doing
that in public!!

Thank you again for all of you who took the time to send information my
direction. And I was able to get that 38 page downloadable book printed
off.

If you know of any ferret rescues in central Kansas please let me know.

Thank you again. Take care, Lori
