You mentioned that your ferret had a cut on nose. I had 2 ferts play
too roughly. One bit the other on the nose, and the ferret could not
stop sneezing violently. Had trouble breathing. Panicking.
I called Zoo. She was the one who asked if another ferret could have
bitten him. She told me to hold him calmly, be soothing, and get him
some ferretone. He drank that and calmed down in a few minutes. The
violent sneezing stopped.
How was your ferrets nose injured? Could hind leg weakness be
insulinoma? Great that you are doing soups. I hear Benadryl is not to
be given.
Keep us posted with what outcome is?
