Subject: [ferrethealth] progress report on Lupron given to stop estrus to allow for spaying
To: fhl <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

24 hours after Lupron she was still open and wet but paler and with
less odor
48 hours after Lupron the color was paler still and still less odor
and vulvas was closed but still large
72 hours after the Lupron the odor continues to reduce and the trend
continues with size now decreasing.

So, the changes can be very rapid for Pivot.

She is also not as clingy to me and is acting more like she did
before, still affectionate, of course.

Lupron does not tend to be a long-term approach unless repeated every
30 days, though. She will be spayed early next month.
