If the ferret is doing okay otherwise I would treat and not go back
in yet. I might consider removing any sutures that aren't needed.
This is usu a suture reaction. I also would prefer an antibiotic
like Clavamox or even baytril for this. I don't know if the TMS is
the best choice. It might work but will take longer. Also do Hot
compresses with hot water on a wash cloth. Keep them warm and wet
and soak for 10-15 minutes. Do this 2-4 times a day and you should
see improvement in a few days.
