Cathy:

All kits are nippers and must be trained not to. Nip this in the bud
now (pardon the pun) because it gets harder to correct as they get
older. We always did the scuffy and drag: EVERY time she nips you
scruff her and say NO! firmly in her face then (while scruffing her)
drag her lightly on the floor. It sounds bad but this is how they're
mom's discipline them and it does not hurt them. The trick is to be
consistant. Apple bitter rarely works (they become use to it) and
hitting them is not acceptable, as you probaby know. It takes a few
weeks to nip train (some get it sooner) but it is soooo important. If
you have to adopt this guiys out for any reason you do not want to
adopt out a biter (most people don't want a biter anyway).

Also. I'm curious about the what kind of cat food your feeding them?
Not many cat foods have the nutrition ferrets need. Here's a link to
a food chart that rates all types of ferret foods.

Thanks for taking these fuzzies in and giving them a good home!

Lisa

The family that owned him did not take the best of care and offered
him to me for free. He is a male and very big. Hope to plump him up
slowly. Cathy
