Subject: [ferrethealth] Is it too early for Ferretonin

My ferret had a Ferretonin implant on July 15th and I was wondering if
it's too early to get him another implant. I've read conflicting
information on how often you should give your adrenal ferret
Ferretonin. some places say every 3 months while others say 4.
On October 14th I am scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery and so it's
going to be very hard for me to take him to the vet for the implant.
Are they any risks associated with giving an adrenal ferret a
Ferretonin implant early?
